Skyler Herrick is a New York City–based dancer, choreographer, vocalist, and Lincoln Center teaching artist currently accepting new students for dance lessons, audition coaching, solo choreography, voice lessons, and acting coaching.
A Teaching Artist with Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and the National Dance Institute, Skyler works with students of all ages and levels, including pre-professional dancers seeking additional training in technique and audition preparation. Her students have been accepted into competitive arts programs including LaGuardia High School, Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, and prestigious summer intensives. She also choreographs audition solos tailored to each individual dancer and has served as a guest instructor at dance schools and universities across the country.
With training in ballet, contemporary, jazz, musical theatre, tap, voice, and acting, Skyler brings a versatile and highly individualized approach to her teaching. Her sessions focus on strong technique, musicality, performance, and confident expression in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Skyler earned her BFA in Contemporary Dance from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and currently performs professionally throughout New York City in contemporary dance and musical theatre works. In addition to her dance career, she has performed and recorded professionally as a vocalist for stage productions, studio recordings, and broadcast television.
